My trip to Italy two years ago spawned a new found appreciation and love for lemons. Before, I thought lemons were just an incredibly sour and bitter member of the citrus family, but when I returned from Italy, I had a epiphany that lemons hold a huge role in flavoring food from dinner to dessert. They can also be used to create a beautiful table setting. Ever since we moved, I have been looking to purchase a lemon tree to place in our living room or bedroom. But much to my surprise, my present from my boyfriend, John for my 29th birthday was a Dwarf Italian Lemon Tree. I cannot wait until it begins to fruit. May life bring me many, many lemons.
