Resort 2015:: Valentino

Happy Friday everyone! So glad that the weekend is here and even happier that it is the official beginning of summer! Any special plans to usher in the new season?

When fashion makes your heart skip a beat or two, you know that it has to be good. After all inspiring pieces can transform a mood and transport you, in the eyes of Valentino's Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli's it is to a butterfly field (a common motif with the designers).  My absolute favorite from the  Resort 2015 collection included beautiful lace details and dreamy floral prints.  While the collection was a whopping 84 looks, the designers reinvented themselves at a few periods during the presentation, sending forward a nostalgic Valentino print from the 70's.  It is full on color and full on print that is like taking consuming a pill that induces happiness.  Here are some of my favorites from the collection. You can see the rest of it here.  I hope that everyone has a great weekend!

  1. Valentino is another one I love to stare at, but it makes me sad because of the ridiculous pricing of their clothes. Not even close to attainable! I guess I'll have to settle for their shoes... :)
