Some Exciting News to Share...

There is news, and then there is good news, and then there is fantastic news! I cannot believe that on April 17^thDomino Magazine will hit newsstands once again with a special edition aptly called ‘Domino Quick Fixes’. This news definitely made my month, it is the little things you know?  I cannot wait to pick up this issue, thumb through it and study each and every page over and over again like I did while it was still in print.  For updates, you can visit their Facebook page or follow them on Twitter.  Let the countdown officially begin!

The latest book that has been added to my coffee table book wish list is: Dior Couture, photographs shot by Patrick Demarchelier.  This must-have book features historical Dior haute couture pieces from 1947 through today.  These photographs are works of art and must be framed.

Style Icon: Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor in her heyday was not only envied because she was absolutely stunning but also because she had a covetable couture wardrobe that was filled with Valentino, Dior and Givenchy.  Several pieces from her prized collection will be hitting the Christie's auction block starting December 3rd, some of the looks are featured below.  My favorite? It is a tie between the red Halston Grecian gown or the Paco Rabanne gold mini.
