Petal by Petal - Fringed Tulip

Tulips are one of those flowers that when I see them starting to crop through the soil after a long winter, I know that spring is near.  They follow suit to the golden yellow daffodils that is one of the first flowers of the season.  One of my new favorite varieties of the tulip is the Fringed Tulip one of my new favorite floral discoveries.  I love how their frilly edges give way to layers of petally goodness and this faint pink shade is impossibly pretty, don't you think?

Where to Buy: I purchased these blooms from Seaport Flowers, their bulbs can be purchased at Holland Bulb Farms.
