Trending: Leather Bottoms

If there was one trend that was in high demand at the Paris couture shows it was leather. Whether worn as a skirt or painted on leggings, this look is a edgy but also looks oh so chic.

Make Me Blush

In addition to gold, my second favorite color is blush; it is not too pink and not too peachy.  Slowly this color has been creeping into my wardrobe over the past few seasons -  not only is this hue ultra-feminine, but it truly flatters pale-skinned, freckly gals like myself.   When it comes to decorating, I have discovered that when juxtaposed with gold, it illuminates such an ethereal ambiance.

One trend that I am really loving for fall is the bow-tie detail. I am finding this finishing touch popping up on bags, dresses and of course, shoes.  I  own a vintage pair of black suede Joan & David heels with a clip-on, clip-off bow that I absolutely adore. A bow is a girly element, but I think it also evokes sophistication and glamour.  Here are some other picks that I am currently lusting over.

Leopard Lover

The Inspiration
(Kate the Great)

(The Lust - Christian Louboutin's Morphing 100 Calf Hair Pumps)
(Designed to perfection - Tory Burch's Patricia Leopard High Heel Bootie)
(A longer version of the inspiration, The Row's Cheple Coat)

(A little summery, but when layered over a long-sleeved black tee and black opaque tights will work for fall, Forever 21's Leopard Pleated Dress)

(An exotic take on the maxi skirt, Asos Whistles Lina Leopard Pleat Midi-Skirt)
(Tie any look together with JCREW's Wide Calf Hair Belt)

The source of my inspiration for my love of leapoard comes from no one other than Kate Moss.  One of her signature looks is dodging the paparazzi in a leopard printed coat.  Many looks and trends come and go, but this call of the wild trend has lingered through many seasons.  Here are some of my favorites for fall.
