Magnolias, how magnificent you are. You arrive just when we need you but are gone far too quickly. My favorite season has arrived and the amount of color on the trees makes me utterly delighted. It begins with vibrant yellow forsythia, followed by magnolias and then ends with the grand finale of spring, the cherry blossoms. I have been closely monitoring a magnolia tree around my apartment and recently on a spring day, that felt gloriously like summer, it bloomed. Here is a glimpse at these beautiful pink tinged petals that grace us with their beauty, if only for a few days.

ReplyDeleteSo beautiful... Part of the reason why I always look forward to spring...
ReplyDeleteI'm so used to white magnolias - we don't get pink ones in Texas! Those are gorgeous.
