My dream Paris apartment might just be this - the decorative elements of old grandeur - parquet floors and gilded crown molding mingling with modern and approachable furniture. Typically I like to steer clear of pieces with rounded lines, however, I think that here, it really balances out the room. What do you prefer old grandeur or fresh and modern?

That first picture is a new classic favorite of mine... wow! It really is just gorgeous! The high ceilings and the parquet floors and the rounded couch... everything comes together perfectly!
