Inspiring Interiors - Colorful Modern

I nearly gasped when I saw this apartment, in particularly the living room.  The subdued and soothing bluish/periwinkle tones are just fantastic.   I also love how bright fuchsia is added into the second photograph creating a more modern feel among such classical moldings.  I tend to steer clear of modern design, but there is something about this that I just like. I am only questioning the tile bed frame, something doesn't really say comfort, but I guess that is modern for you.

    I am a sucker for a white kitchen. A lot of the homes where I live have dark cabinets and dark granite counters. (That's what ours has.) It is pretty but white kitchens just look so much better to me!
