Window Shopping: Bergdorf Goodman
The walk up Fifth Avenue to Bergdorf Goodman today was a bone-chilling experience. The arctic winter temperatures have officially arrived.57th Street, I immediately began to feel a sense of warmth - between the bright and bold looks, sweet Valentine's Day messages and the welcoming of The Year of the Dragon, Bergdorf's always has the ability to make me happy.

Window Shopping: Saks Fifth Avenue
There has been somewhat of a hiatus in my window shopping feature due to the glorious holiday windows that decorated the city for more than a month. I have dearly missed the creative talent and looks that are featured in each and every window. But now, the windows are back and they are oh so pretty. The looks featured in the Saks Fifth Avenue windows are singing to the tune of spring. Bright colors and light fabrics, just what spring dreaming (in winter) is all about.

Window Shopping: Bergdorf Goodman (Holiday Edition)
There is talent and then there is talent. This applies to the amazing team at Bergdorf Goodman that have created another series of magnificent holiday windows. I was expecting to be taken aback by the scenes that they would create, but not completely blown away. If it wasn't for the loads of tourists (and now, Fifth Avenue is absolutely covered with them) I would have stared at each window for about an hour to carefully examine each detail in their 'Carnival of the Animals' theme and the gorgeous Marchesa, Naeem Khan and Alexander McQueen gowns that were featured in many of the windows.

Window Shopping: Saks Fifth Avenue (Holiday Edition)
(Stunning Marchesa)
(Alexander McQueen)
It is that time of the year again when the city is bedecked with holiday beauty. New York is the absolute best place to be during the holidays, especially now that the holiday windows are being unveiled across the city. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Here is a look inside the Saks Fifth Avenue windows. My jaw dropped when I saw the exquisitely layered Marchesa gown and the burgundy hued feather dress from Alexander McQueen.
