A Fall Setting

 How magical are these photos taken just before the sun sinks into the horizon? The colors and textures here evoke fall - from the rich burgundy and golden hues to the burning candle sticks.  I would love to replicate this setting for a Thanksgiving feast.  

Romantic Charm

 I came across these pretty images and just had to share them. I absolutely adore the soft, romantic color palette with a subtle hint of English charm.  I love the layered look of patterned plates, lace napkins and the gold utensils   This makes me want to slip on a dress that is suitable for a tea party and sip endless cups of tea.  

A Sweet Brunch

How beautiful is this brunch setting?  The color palette along with the food presentation is almost too pretty to eat.  I would love to fast-forward to the weekend to enjoy a brunch in a setting just like this, wouldn't you?

A Tuscan Picnic

Open-air dining is one of the highlights of summer.  Lingering over meals that extend into the evening are definitely a favorite past time. Dining al fresco with the rolling hills of Tuscany surrounding you, is for me, the ultimate idea of a perect dining location.  These images come from just one of my favorite food blogs, Jul's Kitchen. An Elegant Garden Gathering

How gorgeous is this setting - a tad tropical with a side of elegance.  I love the combination of the black and white striped parlor fabric and the gold wrought iron chairs.  I just love the idea of hosting a garden party, don't you?

 For as much as I love gold, I also love antiqued silver. I have inherited a few beautiful silver trays from my late-grandmother and any excuse that I can use them I usually do. I love these settings that serve bite-size appetizers on gorgeous silver trays.  Which do you prefer, silver or gold?

A Farm-Inspired Gathering

One of my best friends is getting married and recently over dinner we began talking about different decorating themes, one requirement was elegance.  I immediately volunteered to gather different ideas, and let me say, it is so amazing how many wedding blogs are out there.  I stumbled across this and I love it for the farm elegance feeling that was created.  I love the galvanized metal cake stand, the petite tarts, the pies in glass jars and the table setting spread out before a red barn.

Hints of Petal Pink, Mint Green and Gold

If I am looking for a color match made in heaven it would have to be the combination of gold and a pastel, thus when I discovered this dessert table overflowing with gold, peach and mint green, I just had to share it.   The petal pink ombre cake is just gorgeous especially when combined with gold utencils.  To be quite honest, I just cannot get enough of table settings like this!
