Spring 2013 Couture: Elie Saab

 There are two couture shows that I cannot wait to see each season - first is Dior and second is Elie Saab. His Spring 2013 collection was nothing short of spectacular - I adored the crystals encrusted gowns in fairy tale shades of blue and barely there lilac.  I see everyone of these exquisite dresses walking down the red carpet at the upcoming Academy Awards.  

Trending: Leather Bottoms

 If there was one trend that was in high demand at the Paris couture shows it was leather. Whether worn as a skirt or painted on leggings, this look is a edgy but also looks oh so chic.

Haute Couture - Elie Saab

The Elie Saab couture presentation was nothing but gorgeous, gorgeous gowns walking down the runway. I absolutely love the floral textures and color palette - ranging from nearly translucent to soft pastels. These looks have 'Oscar' written all over them.  I can't wait to see what happens.
